Tour 2: Ocean and Desert (11 days / 10 nights)

Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen
Arriving in the port of Tangier you are met by your driver. After a tour of Tangier City you depart for Chefchaouen. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Fes – Midelt
After breakfast you visit the medina of Chefchoauen then depart for Midelt via Fes, the Middle Atlas cedar forests and the alpine town of Ifrane. Overnight in Midelt.

Depart Midelt travelling via the Ziz Valley with its huge palm groves, Errachidia and Erfoud for the sand dunes of Merzouga. Overnight in Merzouga.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert Oasis
In the morning you visit the different ksars (Berber forts) in the Merzouga/Rissani area and the fossil quarries near Erfoud before returning to Merzouga for lunch. After relaxing at your auberge, in the late afternoon you take a camel safari into the sand dunes of the Sahara Desert to watch the sun setting over the desert. Tonight is spent camping under the stars in a Berber nomad's tent at a desert oasis. Overnight in desert. (Option to overnight at Merzouga auberge.)
Day 5: Merzouga – Ouarzazate
You rise early to watch the sunrise over the desert. After breakfast you return by camel to your Merzouga auberge before leaving for Ouarzazate via Todra Gorge, the Roses Valley and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Taroudant
Departing Ouarzazate after breakfast you visit the UNESCO world heritage village of Ait Benhaddou, which has some of the Atlas region's most exotic and best preserved Kasbahs before continuing on to the southern oasis caravan towns of Taliouine and Taroudant. Overnight Taroudant.
Day 7: Taroudant – Agadir – Essaouira
This morning you travel via the Atlantic beachside city of Agadir to the relaxed Atlantic coast town of Essaouira where you can explore the town’s UNESCO designated 18th century medina. Overnight Essaouira.
Today you depart Essaouira for the imperial city of Marrakech. Afternoon half-day Marrakech city tour including the medina, La Bahia Palace, el Badi Palace, Koutoubia Mosque and Djemaa el Fna Square. Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 9: Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat
Leaving Marrakech you travel through Casablanca to visit the famous Hassan II Mosque, then to Rabat to visit the Oudaia Kasbah, the Hassan Tower, the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Royal Palace (Mechouar). Overnight in Rabat.
Day 10: Rabat – Asilah
After Breakfast depart for the beautiful little town of Asilah situated on the Altantic coast close to Tangier. Overnight in Asilah.
Day 11: Asilah – Tangier
After breakfast depart Asilah for the port of Tangier where your tour ends.
