We especially enjoyed the opportunity to eat a home cooked meal in some real Moroccan homes. The riads we stayed at were great (I especially liked the riad in Marrakesh) and Ali our guide was really good. Morocco is a very interesting country and different to other places I have been to. Marrakesh was a very busy city and the medina of Fes was huge. I was very glad we had a guide to take us through it. We still would have been trying to find our way out without one!!! Essaouira was not as fast paced as Marrakesh and a great place to relax for a few days. We enjoyed sitting on the wall at the beach eating our ice cream and watching the local guys play soccer.
